Sunrise, FL October 15, 2010 – Eyecast (formerly OCP), a global leader in cloud-based video surveillance, today announced that Robert (Bob) Dickinson, member of the Carnival Corporation board of directors and former CEO of Carnival Cruise Lines (NYSE: CCL) is elected to the Eyecast Board of Directors at the annual shareholder meeting that took place on October 11, 2010.
As a founder of Carnival in 1972, Bob helped build the Company into a fortune 500 company. In May 2005, Dickinson was made CEO and president to more accurately reflect his role as the highest-ranking executive at the world’s largest and most popular cruise operator. He retired from his post as president and CEO in November 2007. He currently serves on the board of directors of the cruise line’s parent company, Carnival Corporation
During his Carnival career, he was named “Travel Executive of the Year” by Travel Trade magazine and his marketing honors include the Association of Travel Marketing Executives (ATME), Atlas Award, Travel Weekly’s Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Travel Industry Association of America Hall of Leaders designation.
