Miami, FL (PRWEB) November 5, 2008 – Eyecast (formerly OCP) today announced their entry into the video surveillance encoder market with the “Terminator” product line. OCP is a service provider of Internet hosted video surveillance technology for residential and business customers initially in the Miami metropolitan area. The T-400 and T-1200 are residential and business class encoders for the video surveillance market and they work in conjunction with OCP’s Internet video surveillance service.

Terminator T-400 is a 4-port JPEG 2000 video encoder designed for residential and small business customers to convert signals from up to 4 analog video surveillance cameras into digitized images that can be sent over the Internet. The T-400 has a list price of $295, however, it is heavily discounted or free if purchased in conjunction with an OCP service offering. See the “Pricing” sub-menu under “Services” on the OCP web site for more details: www.ocpinc.net.

The Terminator T-1200 is a 12-port JPEG 2000 video encoder designed for business customers that supports up to 12 analog cameras. The T-1200 is planned for release in the second half of 2009 and pricing is TBA.

“The Terminator T-400 is a breakthrough in pricing for JPEG 2000 based encoder technology and a price-performance leader in the overall video encoder market” said John DuBois, CEO. “The T-400 introduces a price point of less than $100 per camera port, list price, and with OCP’s pricing model, the cost can be reduced, eliminated, or bundled into the monthly subscription fee.”
