Miami, FL (PRWEB) October 9, 2008 – Eyecast (formerly OCP) held its annual meeting of Shareholders on October 9th, 2008 and elected four members to the Board of Directors. OCP is a service provider of Internet hosted video surveillance technology for residential and business customers initially in the Miami metropolitan area. In accordance with the Certificate of Incorporation and the Company By-Laws, OCP directors all serve for one year terms and may be re-elected for subsequent terms.
Joseph Lucatorto was elected and named Chairman. Mr. Lucatorto is recognized as one of the world’s foremost authorities on telecommunications marketing, network architecture design and regulatory compliance. Mr. Lucatorto is acknowledged as the architect of the first Inter-exchange Access tariffs that led to the creation of the Regional Bell Operating Companies and was named the “Father of Interconnection” by the Financial Times for forging groundbreaking agreements that ushered in U.S. telecom deregulation. Prior to forming Lucatorto Partners LLC in August, 2006, Mr. Lucatorto spent his entire career with Verizon and its predecessor companies, culminating in a Vice President role where he led the Complex Solutions & Opportunity Management organization for the Enterprise business unit.
John DuBois, the Chief Executive Officer, was elected and named President. Mr. DuBois has been in the telecommunications field for over 20 years. Recently, he was CEO of a NASDAQ listed telecommunications equipment company and CEO of a national backbone Internet provider. Mr. DuBois was also instrumental in the widespread deployment of DSL technology in the late 1990s serving as a Vice President of carrier sales for Redback Networks working with Bell Atlantic (now Verizon), Bell South and SBC (now AT&T). Prior to that, Mr. DuBois spent his entire career working in software/systems engineering, sales, and executive management for companies that were either telecom service providers or telecom equipment manufacturers. These companies include, GTE, ECI Telecom/Telematics, Cascade/Ascend and Sprint/Sprint International.
Suhail Nanji, the Chief Technology Officer, was elected and named Secretary. Mr. Nanji has over 20 years of high-tech experience in telecommunications product development and technology incubation. Mr. Nanji was part of the early product development team at Redback Networks, which was a successful startup company that pioneered Broadband Remote Access Server (BRAS) technology. Previously, Mr. Nanji was a founder of BERN Communications which provided independent telephone companies with a turnkey/outsourcing solution for becoming a dial-up and dedicated Internet Service Provider (ISP) and for generating local Web content. Prior to BERN, Mr. Nanji spent many years as a telecommunications software consultant.
James Eroncig was elected and named Treasurer. Mr. Eroncig is a successful entrepreneur currently CEO of the Peninsula Corporation dealing in export and international financing. Mr. Eroncig founded or bought, restructured and sold many companies including business banks, communications system companies and electronics companies. In his earlier years, Mr. Eroncig was General Manager of Topper Toys Far East operations, head of manufacturing for Hot Wheels at Mattel Toys, Inc., and senior manufacturing engineer for ACF industries.
